Founded in Denmark, Tapis Noir has built the foundation of their company on celebrating provenance and with a focus on artisanship. Focusing on the small scale production of classic pieces, their scarves are formed from a collage of reworked historic textiles and original new prints.

Take this Small Classical Blue Flower Scarf for example. A small scarf in a satiny shade of blue, it is made from a thick silk twill and feels soft to the touch. The floral print comes from a late 18th century Louis XVI brocade trellis print and has been printed on both sides to ensure a perfect look no matter how it is tied.
